Growing Readers Club - How does it work? Librarians will choose 2 to 3 books for you that will relate to the monthly theme. The materials will be checked out to you at the Marceline Carnegie Library, and available for pick up in the first week of the month. Included with the books, will be a craft and a small treat to keep. Your books will be due back on the first Friday of the following month, if you have not finished your books, you may contact the library to renew them. Books with a hold list (another patron is waiting for them) cannot be renewed. You may opt out of the Growing Readers program at any time, by contacting the Marceline Carnegie Library.
Thank you Alaura Coe for new addition to the library. The Little Free Library is a free book sharing box where anyone may take a book or share a book. It is based on an honor system. You do not have to return the exact book you take. If you take a book or two from the little library, try to bring some to share. It is important to only donate books in good condition, not damaged, moldy, or filled with outdated information.
